A Fat Man in a Little Suit
A romper! A romper! For some reason I just love that word... And the suit is pretty cute too! My little man lived in this all summer. Perfect for lounging at the beach. (Or on an Ikea rug!)
Made with denim and pinstriped cotton twill. Fully lined bodice. Elasticized legs. Button closures.

More Big Bum Baby Pants Pics!
I don't know if your family is like mine but it seems that I'm always the photographer in the bunch. We have about a kazillion photos of the boy alone or the boy with his dad, but really few with me in them. Hmm. I'm forever sounding like a pathetic little broken record: "Hey, why don't you take a picture of us?" "Look how cute we are being right now, why don't you take a picture? Huh? Huh?"
Even so, I never really thought about getting professional photos of my family taken before, but this summer while visiting a friend on Vancouver Island (who also just happens to be a really talented photographer) he offered to take some of us at his studio. And I've gotta say, we are just so happy with the results. I love this collection of photos from this little snapshot in time and now when the little dude's an old man he'll have proof that he had a mama in the mix, too! We'll totally be doing it again. Hey, thanks buddy!
(I've shared some of the shots that show off Milo's pants.)

Geranium Dot Dress
So even though my whole inspiration behind starting this little venture was to make stylish, quality, locally made clothes for baby boys, I just can't resist the dress!
The dress is made from linen double-guaze with a fully lined bodice and buttoned back. Options of ruffled sleeves and/or pockets. I have a selection of different polka dotted fabrics, some hand printed, some not, but all full of delicate whimsy.
*Pattern designed by Rae Hoekstra of made-by-rae-.com*
I made this dress for the crazy cute Maisey Lynn on the occasion of her birth. Welcome to the world Maisey! Way to rock it!

Big Bum Baby Pants
One of the cutest things about babies has got to be their mismatched proportions. Those huge heads, eyes and bums! My little man has always been in the 40th percentile for height and weight and the 90th percentile for his head. Wowza! That's a whole lotta brain. He's like super smart. I'm hoping that soon he'll acquire a neck and then he won't look like such a toggle head, but until then... cuteza!
These pants are made to deal with the bum part of the equation. As we use cloth diapers I've always had a hard time finding pants that fit. They either fit in the bum and not the legs, or vice versa. These pants solve the problem by providing ample bum space for the extra padding of cloth diapers without being too long in the leg. Add some suspenders to make your wee one look even more dapper for special occasions (this was Milo's summer wedding outfit).
The inseams are double sewn for extra protection against wear and tear. The pants are made from blue and white pinstriped cotton twill with denim bum and knee patches. Elastic waist.
